Spiritual Matters

I believe in miracles!  Sounds like a song, right? Well, no song here, because I do believe in miracles.  God can and will intervene in our life and make the impossible happen.  I believe that.  In fact, many times I count on that.  So, when all the experts have ruled against this or that, then it is time to turn to the top expert - God.  Nothing is final until God makes it a finality.  So, I believe in miracles.

Equally I believe that through our actions we can help bring miracles about.  I am a person of action and I have never believed that sitting around and expecting a miracle to happen is enough.  I remember once watching a moving called “Lorenzo’s Oil”.  In that movie, the parents were hoping for a miracle.  But instead of just hoping and praying, they did something.  They became experts on their son’s infirmity and worked hard until they found a cure.  A miracle.  But they did not wait around for it to happen.  They did their part. 

So, I believe in miracles!  But, I don’t think it is OK to waddle in self pity and hope for a miracle.  I believe that God expects us to take action.  We can help bring our miracles about.  Do you believe in miracles?
