Recognizing Your Brilliance

ig Ziglar once said that "we stand in utter awe and amazement at God's creations. But we pass ourselves by even though we are God's greatest creation." Most of us live our lives looking outwardly at the things we want and fail to look inwardly to improve that one thing that can get us everything we ever wanted - our self!
Everyone is brilliant. Like it or not, we all are brilliant beings that God has put on this earth. Unfortunately, for most of our lives, we dim our brilliance because we feel that the pot at the end of the rainbow can be found elsewhere. We never really consider that in each of our minds and within each of our hearts lie awesome abilities that can propel us to anyplace we want to go and give us anything that we desire. We simply have to call upon and tap our inherent brilliance.
God has given us this gift. Within each person lies something special that when tapped properly will yield tremendously powerful results. Many of us fail to properly tap this power because we buy into the lies and untruths that we have heard about ourselves all of our lives - we are lazy, dumb, don't have the right stuff, can't stand the heat, a loser, will never account to anything. That just too much negative energy for anyone to take upon themselves. Unfortunately, if we buy into this manure, guess what we are go to yield?
Don't let others determine who you are. Resist any attempts by others to label you as less than brilliant. Begin to harness that brilliance. Find those things that you are really good at, those things that you have a unique talent for, and begin to leverage them. Build upon your skills and then utilize those skills to help others. That's right, help others first. Again, to quote Zig Ziglar, "You can have everything in life that you want, if you help enough people get what they want."
You are great. You are brilliant. No go out and prove it to yourself. Let your brilliance shine today!
