The Secret Is Here!

If you've not heard, The Secret is one of the hottest topics in America, having been featured on Larry King, and more recently, Oprah Winfrey devoted two full episodes to exploring this emerging phenomena. Books stores are having a difficult time keeping the materials in stock - the book, the DVD and the audio tape. "The Secret" is based on the Law of Attraction. If you've not heard this before, the Law of Attraction simply states that 'like attracts like", so therefore you thoughts are magnets, and good or bad, attract things into your life.

I've been reading and studying the concepts behind the secret for quite a while. Here are a few of my notes. Notice that in my notes, I tend to personalize them by putting them in the first person - by making them apply to me and MY life. This is key. So often we read things and fail to put those things in action because we read them as a casual observer. But if we are going to make our lives better we need to face our realities and admit that we have shortcomings. To face up to those, be sure to put self-improvement notes in the first person. They become personal, and they become a part of us.

Notes from "The Secret"

"The Secret" is the law of attraction. Everything that is coming into my life! It is attracted to me by virtue of the images I am holding in my mind.
Whatever is going on in my mind, I am attracting to me.
Every thought is a REAL thing.
The Law of Attraction forms my entire life experience.
I must think thoughts of abundance and wealth and not allow any contradictory thoughts to take root in my mind.
The Law responds to my thoughts not matter what they may be.
I am a magnet. I contain magnetic power within me that is more powerful than any thing in this world. And this powerful attraction is emitted through my thoughts.
Hold on to the thoughts of what I want and make it absolutely clear in my mind what I want. I become what I think about most and I also attract what I think about most.
My life today is a reflection of my past thoughts.
If I can think about what I want in my mind and make that my dominant thought, I will bring it into my life.
Thoughts become things.
A thought has a frequency. If I imagine what I want, I am emitting that frequency on a constant basis.
Thoughts are sending out the magnetic signal that is drawing the parallel back to me! Every thing sent out is returned to the source and that source is ME!
I am a human transmission tower and I am more powerful than any television tower.
The pictures I receive through the transmisssions of my thoughts are pictures of my life.
